Construction Maintenance & Turnarounds Fabrication Equipment & Specialty Services

Turner Industries has provided a single vendor solution in heavy industrial construction, maintenance, pipe, module and vessel fabrication, equipment, rigging and heavy hauling, and associated specialty services for nearly 50 years. Privately owned by the Turner family, and headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the company began in 1961 when young engineer, Bert Turner, bought Nichols Construction Company out of bankruptcy.  Upon his death in 2008, ownership of the company passed to his wife, Suzanne "Sue" Turner, who now sits on the five person senior executive management board at Turner Industries, and his children. Mrs. Turner is joined on that board by her daughters, Suzanne L. Turner and Mary T. Svendson, her son Thomas H. Turner, Vice Chairman/COO and CEO, Roland M. Toups. Turner Industries was certified a Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) in 2009.
