Q: What if I already have a high-grade, industrial wireless system – can ISG run on it?
A: Yes. We communicate on a number of the common wireless protocols, most are supported by network providers.

Q: If my current Operator Tracking Surveillance system doesn’t have your capabilities, can we run ISG applications on existing hardware?
A: Yes, MobilOps could be an application icon on the existing handheld.

Q: Does the system require a full wireless network to be effective?
A: While there are many benefits to the use of an industrial wireless network, they are not required in order to use MobilOps. An implementation with cradling mobile computing devices is possible.

Q: What are the trade-offs between using MobilOps wirelessly vs. cradled?
A: With a wireless setup, faster communications to the server (and other systems) will be accomplished. Without wireless, the synchronization of field data is done via a “cradle” (charger) connected via USB. There is still vast improvement over paper-based methods without wireless.

Q: How long does it take to get a system up for a pilot?
A: For a procedure project, we can be up and running on a single unit pilot in about 4 weeks. This would prepare the system, load basic data, get training under way and set up for continuing the pilot use. A rounds/readings pilot can be up and running in a similar time frame

Q: How long does it take to implement the system to automate my paper rounds, readings and checklists?
A: Full implementation will be a factor of the numbers of checklists and equipment that will be loaded. However, getting up and running, in full use by a complete unit (for instance) will take about 90 days.
