Turner Industries recently announced the final results of their United Way employee campaign. A total of $1,310,000 was pledged to United Way in employee and corporate donations to complete Turner’s campaign for the upcoming year. The total represented a 16% increase in pledges over last year.

"We are extremely proud of our employees who stepped up to the challenge in a year full of economic bad news,” said Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, Thomas Turner. "Our company has always had a corporate commitment to support the communities where we work and live, and as part of that commitment, we have recognized the United Way as our best opportunity to help the greatest number of people in the most locations.”

Turner Industries campaign pledges will be disbursed to over 100 United Ways around the country where Turner Industries employees work.
