Twenty-Two Turner Industries Sites Awarded a 2009 NPRA Safety Award - Tuesday, May 25, 2010
|
|
On May 20, 2010, the National
Petrochemical & Refiners Association (NPRA) announced the recipients of
their 2009 NPRA Safety Statistics and Awards Program. The awards are part of a
comprehensive safety program developed by NPRA's Safety and Health Committee to
promote accident prevention by employees in the petroleum refining and
petrochemical manufacturing industries and the contractors supporting them, and
to publicly recognize those facilities that have achieved a high safety
standard in their daily operations for the previous year.
22 sites managed by Turner
Industries and its subsidiary, Turner Industrial Maintenance, have been awarded
for this past year’s work.
The Safety Awards are based
on records kept for employees in accordance with the Occupational Safety &
Health Administration (OSHA) record keeping requirements as defined by law and
entered on the OSHA 300A form.
We congratulate all those
Turner employees who made these awards possible.
