Turner Industries Group, L.L.C. is pleased to announce the formation of its Waddell Mechanical Division of Turner Industries, resulting from the completed acquisition of Waddell Mechanical, Inc. located in Decatur, Alabama.

The solid reputation and service base of Waddell Mechanical in the Tennessee Valley, combined with the resources of Turner Industries, will enable the delivery of a significantly expanded array of services to both our current clients, as well as new ones throughout this expanded region.  Vice Chairman, Thomas Turner comments, “…since our founding, the charge we have always followed is to profitably add the services our clients need.”.

One of these services is in the area of increased fabrication capabilities.  The Waddell Mechanical division will enable Turner Industries to fabricate Process and ASME Code vessels and equipment, structural steel and high purity “Clean Room” pipe and equipment.  Experience in this Division extends to fabricating several types of special alloy process equipment and pipe such as Titanium, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Hastolloy, Inconel, Monel, Chromolly, and others in addition to Carbon Steel.

The acquisition of Waddell Mechanical also provides Turner Industries another strategic location to service an expanding client base.  The fabrication and shipment of process modules and skids, as well as process equipment, has greatly increased capabilities to more regions of the United States.

Turner Industries’ strength in industrial Construction, Maintenance and Turnarounds, Modular and Pipe Fabrication, Equipment, Rigging, Heavy Haul and Specialty Services will reinforce and expand the level of services that Waddell Mechanical is currently providing to the northern Alabama  region industrial Owners.
