The
primary focus is to provide programming services to all users on JD Edwards World
applications (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll,
Fixed Assets, Equipment, Job Cost, Billing, and Purchasing, etc.).
Technical
system design and programming services to various departments including
operations, accounting, and administration.
These services include writing programming enhancements to existing JDE
code and writing custom programs to interface with the JDE database.
Functional Responsibilities
· Assist management and
end-users on the effective use of the JD Edwards system.
· Assist middle and senior
management in the development of custom generated financial reports.
· Assist in the application development
of unique business processes (i.e. MRP/Email Solutions/Shop Floor Control
Module).
· Develop practices, policies
and procedures for the modifications, upgrades and enhancements to JD Edwards
software.
· Assist in the development
of converting JD Edwards World Writer Reports and FASTR Reports into programs
or other reporting tools.
· Assist in the development
of a short and long term strategic information and system plans to support the
management information system challenges ahead.
· Educate the personnel
throughout the organization on proven technical solutions to meet business
challenges.
