Turner Industries’ Proprietary Software Wins Regional Technology Award

Turner Industries’ CraftTrax Check-in software received the “Coup d’Tech” Award at the eWARDS Baton Rouge area ceremony on May 31, 2012.  The eWARDS program is designed to recognize the technological achievements of Louisiana’s top companies, organizations and individuals. The Louisiana Technology Council, in cooperation with the Louisiana Economic Development, the Baton Rouge Business Report and the Louisiana Business and Technology Center presented the awards.  The “Coup d’Tech” Award recognizes a company that “creatively applies technology in a manner that results in a meaningful developmental improvement in the areas of process, practice, service and/or support for the betterment of the region or industry,” according to a report released by the Louisiana Technology Council.

CraftTrax Check-in software, a web proprietary real time database of applicants that matches skill set with workforce requirements, enhancing the recruiting process for both the applicant and recruiter, was developed by Turner’s Information Technology department.

The winners of the Baton Rouge area eWARDS will compete for the Governor’s Technology Awards slated in late June or early July
