Turner Industries’ Paris, Tx. fabrication facility has been busy this holiday season spreading Christmas cheer to those in need. 28 homebound and senior citizens received gifts from their wish lists through Turner employees’ participation in the Meals on Wheels “Gifts of Love” program. Employees also collected food items for the YWCA Keys Food Pantry to help feed disadvantaged women and families during the holidays. Throughout the year, employees have been saving, collecting and selling aluminum cans for the Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” program. In addition, employees also bought toys and donated money culminating in the gifting of over $1,000 worth of toys.
At the same time, Turner employees working on the construction project at the DOW Chemical site in Freeport, Tx., where Turner is contracted to Samsung Engineering on the Falcon Project, rose to the occasion and raised $7,855 towards the Toys for Tots campaign.
In Pasadena, Tx., employees volunteered their time and talent to the “Smiles on Wheels” program, assembling 373 bikes that will be gifted to local schools. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all Turner Industries employees who donated resources and volunteered their time to the above causes.
