Turner Industries’ Paris, TX fabrication facility recently received its 4th Eagle Award from United Way of Lamar County. The Award is given to the business with the greatest percent increase in pledges over the previous year. Paris employees pledged $193,709, 30% of the total 2013 Lamar County Campaign of $639,019, and a 52% increase over Turner’s 2012 pledges. Sue Labbe, Administrative Assistant, has served as the campaign coordinator at Turner since 2006, a United Way Board member and has also served as the Industrial Chairperson for Lamar County. Currently the Vice President of United Way Lamar County, Sue will be the 2014 Campaign Chairperson. Sue is shown below with the four Eagle Awards won in 2006, 2009, 2010, and 2013.
