Turner Industries Enrolls Children into Early Learning Program

Turner Industries is working to enroll Baton Rouge, Louisiana area children into Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a nationwide, early learning program. Through a partnership with the Capital Area United Way, Turner Industries has agreed to fund the Imagination Library for children in the Geismar, La. community, and is looking forward to bringing the program in other areas where we work.

The Imagination Library program delivers an age appropriate book to children’s home each month for one year. Through Turner Industries’ donation, every Geismar child (birth – 5 years old) who registers will receive one book in the mail each month for 12 months.

This year’s registration kickoff took place on Thursday, July 11th at the Geismar Community Center. Children still have an opportunity to register throughout the year by visiting the Geismar Community Center. The Geismar Community Center is located at 12060 Highway 73, Geismar, LA 70734.
