Construcción is officially underway on the new LNG regasification facility at Clifton Pier, where Turner Industries Bahamas Servicios (TIBS) is proud to partner with New Providence Gas (NPG) on this transformative energy project. Meet some of the TIBS site leaders:
Timothy Beech
Site Manager
An Alabama native with 20 years of industry experience, Timothy oversees daily site operations, trade coordination, and logistics to keep work safe, on spec, and on schedule. His favorite part of the job is watching drawings become a physical structure. Seeing the island’s infrastructure challenges firsthand has made the project’s goal of lowering energy costs especially meaningful. In his free time, he explores the island and gets out on the water to fish.
Slade San Miguel
Site Safety Manager
A 20-year industry veteran from Metairie, La., Slade oversees daily health, safety, and environmental controls. His focus is building a fair, consistent, and proactive safety culture so every crew member goes home safe. He finds it most rewarding to work with leaders who truly care about their teams. Off the clock, he hits the gym, video-calls family, and packs out local restaurants with the TIBS and NPG crews.
Jhonathan “Franko” Baca-Nunez
General Superintendent
A Prairieville, La., resident with more than 15 years at Turner, Jhonatan is responsible for the safety and quality of all work on-site and hopes the project brings lasting change to Nassau. He takes pride in how the team has met every challenge while still delivering quality work. Off the job, he runs long distances. His favorite part? The view from the dock. “Can’t get a better environment to work,” he says.
