Turner Industries recently transported a 138,000-pound power house office building from Houston to Luisiana Sugar Refining in Gramercy, Luisiana. The massive structure—measuring 17′ 6″ wide by 17′ 8″ high—required specialized handling on a P9 trailer for the journey.
Turner Aparejo Engineer Mark Kenney custom-designed four specialized spreader bars to safely manage the lift operation. Turner’s powerful Liebherr LTM 1400 crane then carefully hoisted the complete office building into its final position adjacent to the power house.
