Turner Industries’ construction teams have been nationally recognized for their outstanding work, bringing home two awards at the recent Associated Builders and Contractors National Excellence in Construction Prix.
Turner was awarded the Eagle Award (National First Place) for its work on the BlueCAT Projet in Port Allen, Louisiane, and the Pyramid Award (National Second Place) for executing the Magnolia Projet in Huntsville, Texas.
Associated Builders and Contractors National Excellence in Construction Prix celebrate the most innovative and high-quality construction projects across the nation. For BlueCAT (Shell Catalysts and Technologies), Turner expanded the world’s largest refining catalyst plant by safely assembling 16 massive modules horizontally before executing complex vertical lifts. For the Magnolia Projet, Turner crews navigated a 50-by-50-foot workspace inside an active facility. Highlights included a 21,000-pound reactor lift and 60 equipment installations, all completed with zero operational disruptions.
