Turner Industries Takes Home Top Honors at ABC National Excellence in Bouw Awards

Turner Industries’ construction teams have been nationally recognized for their outstanding work, bringing home two awards at the recent Associated Builders and Contractors National Excellence in Bouw Awards.

Turner was awarded the Eagle Award (National First Place) for its work on the BlueCAT Project in Port Allen, Louisiana, and the Pyramid Award (National Second Place) for executing the Magnolia Project in Huntsville, Texas.

Associated Builders and Contractors National Excellence in Bouw Awards celebrate the most innovative and high-quality construction projects across the nation. For BlueCAT (Shell Catalysts and Technologies), Turner expanded the world’s largest refining catalyst plant by safely assembling 16 massive modules horizontally before executing complex vertical lifts. For the Magnolia Project, Turner crews navigated a 50-by-50-foot workspace inside an active facility. Highlights included a 21,000-pound reactor lift and 60 equipment installations, all completed with zero operational disruptions.

For BlueCAT (Shell Catalysts and Technologies), Turner expanded the world’s largest refining catalyst plant by safely assembling 16 massive modules horizontally before executing complex vertical lifts.

Turner received the Pyramid Award (National Second Place) for completing the Magnolia Project in Huntsville, Texas.
