Turner’s Decatur Facility Called on Several Times for Emergency Repair Work

Turner Industries’ southeastern field services group recently performed an emergency boiler repair for International Paper in Port Wentworth, Georgia. While this work was ongoing, the group was also called in for emergency repair work at Indorama Ventures Xylenes & PTA in Decatur. In addition, Turner provided emergency boiler repair work for Sylvamo in Ticonderoga, New York.

“All of these jobs were completed in a timely fashion, and all of these clients were satisfied with Turner’s work,” said Kyle Williams, senior project manager for Turner Industries. “Even with the Labor Day weekend and the holiday occurring, we moved our employees and equipment efficiently to make sure the necessary work was performed in a timely manner. It was hectic at times, but we always met our clients’ demands. For example, before our employees even made it back from Port Wentworth, the mill required additional repair work, and we had to remobilize. We did whatever we had to do to complete these jobs.”
