We work diligently to assist our clients with their needs. Our “One Solution for Your Success” yields direct results when our team hits your jobsite.

Turnaround Services Group (TSG) – Our premier turnaround group specializes in providing our clients with turnkey turnaround solutions. We have developed a proven formula that begins even before coming on site. Our managers undergo specialized training to ensure proper event management and execution, and our turnaround teams perform more turnarounds than any other contractor in the business. We have the workforce, safety record, and experience to handle any turnaround, no matter the challenge.

Turner “I’s” – Designed to refocus supervisors on their fundamental responsibilities for safe and successful task execution, our supervisory re-engagement process (which includes intervention, interaction, involvement and instruction — dubbed the Turner “I’s”) assesses the amount of time a supervisor is actually engaged in work oversight as opposed to administrative duties that take them away from the work. Consisting of both a field evaluation and a training process, this program helps form an effective balance so that tasks are executed according to sound safety practices.

Turner Specialty Services (TSS) – Turner Specialty Services encompasses three groups: Industrial, Environmental and NDE. These groups provide clients with the services and skills needed for a variety of jobs within these categories.

Turner Tablet™ – This flagship innovation project aims to reduce the administrative burden on frontline supervision by digitizing their work processes using intrinsically safe tablets. Taking traditional paper-based tasks such as JSAs and timesheets to a digital platform allows us to automate workflows, improve safety, and increase productivity, while at the same time lowering the cost of overhead. The Turner Tablet eliminates the latency associated with data entry, making real-time analytics possible.

Tube Testing – We use various technologies to detect anomalies such as corrosion or manufacturing defects in metallic tubes. These applications are typically used in equipment such as boilers and heat exchangers. IRIS or Remote Field is required for ferromagnetic tube inspections.

UAV Inspection – Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), commonly known as drones, are one of the latest Inspection and NDE technologies we offer. Drone inspections can be far safer than sending individuals out to do the work, especially when heights, possibly weakened structures, or confined spaces are involved. Drone inspections are also typically carried out in less time than other inspection methods. We have the ability to couple innovative UAV technology with traditional inspection methods by combining our UAV team with API Inspectors to offer an all-inclusive, cost-efficient inspection. We can also provide 4K video, Infrared Thermography, and 20-gas LDAR capability with a fleet of UAVs and payloads.

Ultra-High-Pressure Services (UHP) – We offer 40,000 PSI hydro blasting services, which can lower your pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintenance or shutdown costs. This is done through descaling, cleaning of pipework from 1″ to 144″, heat exchangers (shell side and tube side, plate, etc.), tanks and vessels, vacuum loading, paint or coating removal, and cold cutting.

Vacuum Truck Services – We provide liquid or dry vacuuming of industrial materials, reducing clean-up time compared to conventional shoveling and loading. We can remove a range of materials from industrial sites, including cement, lime, sands and sludge. Our powerful vacuums can pick up material as far as 1,000 feet away and discharge it into trucks, dumpsters or landfills.

Waste Volume Reduction – We are a full-service waste minimization service provider using the most current dewatering and treatment options available, including in-house treatability studies and innovative waste minimization technologies: recessed chamber, screw press, belt press, centrifuge and geomembrane tube. Clients are also provided with complete program development (e.g. recovery and processing, safety, quality control), waste to product conversions, program optimization and peer assist/peer review.

WinPCS® – Turner Industries’ award-winning system, part of a field execution methodology that ensures every task on the turnaround and/or construction project is tracked on a shift-by-shift basis. This tool has a proven track record and provides a physical percent complete and productivity measurement, giving us a definitive advantage over the competition. The basic functionality of WinPCS® interfaces the actual direct labor man-hours expended to the actual field progress work tasks for a given window of time. WinPCS® focuses on techniques for management of direct labor because it is the most volatile resource and must be controlled if the project is to be successful. The amount of required materials to complete a project is definite and measurable, but the direct labor efficiency swings in direct proportion to the applied management techniques.

WeldTracker® – This proprietary software is used in the tracking of pipe and plate welding on projects – both construction and maintenance. The system is based around a weld log and associated tables that cover welders, weld procedures and pipe specifications. These combine to form a broad source of information on weld status, welder productivity, NDE frequency, etc., to supply site superintendents, managers and quality control inspectors with decision-making data.

WinTAKE® – A proprietary digitized take-off (estimating) system for the industrial marketplace. The system is integrated with planning/scheduling, project controls and job cost. Key benefits include quicker and more accurate estimates at the lowest level of project detail for all disciplines (Pipe, Steel, Civil, E&I). All of the disciplines have a similar look and feel, and data may be input via keyboard, mouse, or a digitizer pad.

WinTEAMS® – This proprietary estimating system is designed specifically for the industrial marketplace. The system is integrated with planning/scheduling and project controls. Key benefits include detailed, accurate estimates of different types of equipment, such as exchangers, towers, drums, etc. It is designed to quickly estimate these types of equipment for the turnaround and maintenance environments.

X-Ray Services – X-ray, or radiography exposures, can be used to inspect process piping, pressure vessels, valves, welds, etc.  for erosion, corrosion and volumetric integrity, providing an easily-viewed high-quality image as a permanent record of the component that has been inspected. Turner has the ability to utilize either Digital (DR), Computed (CR), Real -Time (RTR) or traditional film radiography (RT) techniques as per client specification.
