Turner Industries Completes Turnaround for TotalEnergies Ahead of Schedule

Turner Industries completed a turnaround for TotalEnergies’ Polystyrene Unit in Carville, Louisiana a day and a half ahead of schedule. The routine turnaround included blinding, inspecting confined spaces, performing piping work, pulling pumps and changing seals, pulling exchangers, removing heads on exchangers, rigging, and more.

Throughout the turnaround, 50 nested Turner employees, as well as several turnaround services and Specialized Welding Services employees, performed the work with zero incidents.

“Congratulations to all our employees on a productive and safe turnaround,” said Larry Watts, site manager for Turner Industries. “Conducting daily safety audits and having foremen, safety, and supervision in the field throughout the turnaround were keys to its success.”
