Services Provided

When dense piping blocked traditional access methods on a recent mechanical maintenance project, a Turner Specialty Services rope access crew found a better way.

Sam Dunnagan, Ricardo Tovar, and Sergio Medina faced a challenging work area where conventional approaches wouldn’t cut it. A manlift—the typical go-to solution—couldn’t navigate through the tight network of pipes to reach the necessary support structures. Scaffolding would have worked, but at a steep price.

Instead, the team deployed their specialized rope access skills to complete the work safely and efficiently. The result? Critical maintenance accomplished on schedule and thousands of dollars saved for the client.

The crew assessed the obstacles, identified the most effective solution, and delivered results that worked for everyone involved. For Turner Specialty Services, it’s another example of how the right team with the right skills can turn a difficult access challenge into a win for the client’s bottom line.
