BATON ROUGE, La. — Turner Industries has been named No. 1 on the Houston Business Journal’s list of the top Louisiana-based companies in Houston, which ranks firms headquartered in Louisiana by the size of their Houston-area workforce.

Turner’s Texas presence spans nearly five decades. The company established operations in Beaumont in the mid-1970s before expanding into the Houston market in 1988 with the opening of its Pasadena facility.
