Turner Specialty Services continues to invest in advanced inspection technology, adding two new tools to its growing drone and robotics fleet.
The HB3 by HausBots crawler is a wall-climbing robot that uses proprietary AEROGRIP technology to adhere to and traverse a wide range of surfaces — including stainless steel, concrete, and composites — without magnets or vacuum seals. Capable of carrying various NDT payloads, it supports ultrasonic thickness measurement, visual inspection, and corrosion mapping on assets where traditional access would require scaffolding, rope access, or confined space entry.
The Skygauge brings ultrasonic testing to aerial inspection. Using patented thrust-vectoring technology for stable, precise flight, the drone makes direct contact with elevated surfaces to capture accurate wall thickness readings — eliminating the need for rope access, scaffolding, or boom lifts and keeping inspection personnel safely on the ground.
Together, these additions strengthen Turner Specialty Services’ ability to deliver thorough, efficient, and safer inspections across tanks, vessels, piping, and elevated structures.
