Turner Industries Participates in OxyChem Battleground Membrane Conversion Project Groundbreaking
Turner Industries is honored to play a key role in the OxyChem Battleground Membrane Conversion Project and attended the recent groundbreaking celebration alongside OxyChem and Technip Energies.
OxyChem’s Battleground plant in Texas is undergoing a multi-year modernization project to convert the chlor-alkali process from diaphragm to membrane technology while increasing production capacity and reducing energy and carbon intensity. This project began in 2023 and has an estimated completion date of 2026.
Congratulations to our incredible OxyChem team and to all our contractors from Turner and Technip Energies for their dedication to launching this project. Breaking ground is the first step to building innovative technology to continue to provide safe drinking water, support health with disinfectants, and provide multiple products used for medical care. In addition, our products are necessary to secure food supply and enable critical technologies and construction products that are critical for the future.
