Industrial Wastewater Treatment
Turner Industries brings complete environmental capabilities to industrial wastewater treatment facilities where reliability and responsible stewardship matter most. From remote dredging and dewatering operations to total tank management, we deliver turnkey solutions built to perform in the most demanding environments. Our integrated approach combines environmental services and advanced expertise to support every phase of wastewater treatment operations.
Environmental Remediation & Civil Works
For long-term wastewater programs, Turner manages the physical environment surrounding water treatment operations. Our civil services group provides essential site infrastructure, including facility pond construction, impoundment liner installation, underground piping and electrical system installation, mechanical and electrical outfall structures, site preparation, and road construction. Our teams deliver complete earthwork and utilities installation across all project phases.
Wastewater & Sludge Management
Turner specializes in the handling and reduction of waste within industrial ponds and impoundments, delivering complete solutions that minimize environmental impact while maximizing operational efficiency. Our full-service approach combines mechanical dewatering with cutting-edge treatment technologies to reduce waste volume at the source. We offer innovative dredging, solidification, and stabilization techniques, and we can turn waste byproducts into reusable byproducts that benefit both your bottom line and the environment.
Infrastructure Maintenance & Cleaning
Turner provides high-tech cleaning and maintenance services to keep treatment plants running at peak performance.
Hydroblasting & Chemical Cleaning
High-pressure water and specialized chemicals remove contaminants, scales, and debris from exchangers, tanks, and piping systems, restoring equipment efficiency and extending asset life.
Vacuum Truck Services
Our fleet of state-of-the-art vacuum trucks safely collects and transports both hazardous and non-hazardous liquid waste to treatment or disposal sites.
Total Tank Management
This includes “zero-entry” tank cleaning using robotics to keep personnel out of hazardous environments, along with full inspections and mechanical repairs.
Inspection & Compliance
We use advanced Non-Destructive Examination (NDE), including ultrasonic testing and drones, to check the integrity of wastewater pipes, storage vessels, and tank floors, preventing leaks and environmental incidents before they occur.
Advanced Metal Fabrication
Turner’s dedicated fabrication facilities handle specialty, exotic, and high-alloy metals required for wastewater applications. With shop space specifically designed for exotic metalwork, we fabricate treatment vessels, piping systems, and structural components that meet the exacting specifications these critical facilities demand. Our ASME-certified shops bring decades of experience working with materials engineered to withstand chemical environments.
Complete Pipe Fabrication
As one of the largest privately owned pipe fabricators in the country, Turner delivers turnkey piping solutions for wastewater treatment systems. With more than 620,000 square feet of combined shop space and dedicated bays for specialty metals, we have the capability to fabricate and ship your project around the world. Our strategically located facilities ensure we can easily connect with you — no matter where you are. We handle carbon steel, stainless steel, and exotic alloys with ASME stamps “S,” “U,” and “R” across all facilities, providing the material versatility wastewater systems require.
Modular Construction Advantage
Turner’s modular fabrication capabilities can accelerate project timelines while maintaining precision. We prefabricate treatment modules, pipe rack assemblies, and structural components in controlled shop environments, then deliver them ready for rapid installation. This approach reduces on-site construction time and improves quality control—critical factors for facilities that can’t afford extended outages or delays.
Case Study
In Louisiana, Tennessee, and Texas, TSS manages environmental projects for a chemical manufacturing company at several facilities. TSS performs dredging and dewatering of lined/unlined surface impoundments. These dewatering programs include waste minimization and byproduct recovery for beneficial reuse. TSS has safely treated over 20 million gallons of wastewater using innovative technologies at these facilities, reducing offsite disposal costs. In one state, TSS has operated at a single site for more than 30 years, maintaining dewatering systems that reclaim process byproducts for reuse as a state-exempted agricultural soil amendment.
