Turner Industries Helps Power Innovation at Roehm’s Bay City Facility
Turner Industries is helping to support the implementation of revolutionary methyl methacrylate production technology at Roehm’s new site in Bay City, Texas.
Beginning in mid-December, Turner stepped in and quickly mobilized a team of approximately 60 employees to the site. What started as capital expenditure support has evolved into commissioning services, with plans to transition into full maintenance operations as the facility moves toward startup.

We know Turner Industries as a reliable partner from the past and are happy to build on this partnership and extend it to our new site in Bay City, Texas,” said Hans-Peter Hauck, chief operating officer at Roehm. “With the support of Turner Industries, we will bring a first-of-its-kind technology to produce methyl methacrylate (LiMA technology) to life.
Turner’s maintenance group is currently providing general mechanical and SIPA (Scaffolding, Insulation, Painting, and Abatement) services, while other teams contribute specialized expertise in construction, rope access, and commissioning.
As Roehm approaches the final stages of its construction phase, Turner teams are providing daily support with all necessary resources to help achieve the plant’s startup goals. Roehm selected Turner Industries specifically for its ability to provide a single-source solution across multiple service disciplines. This integrated approach allows for streamlined coordination and enhanced efficiency as the facility implements its innovative LiMA technology for methyl methacrylate production.
